ASSESSMENT DESIGN
In accordance with the regulation from the CBSE, for the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), the School has adopted the Term System from Class I to X

Examinations :
1.  There will be two terms during the course of the year
     Term - I (1st April to 30th Sept.)
     Term - II (1st Oct. to 31th March)
2.  The following assessments will be conducted during Term-I and Term-II (For Classes I to X)
     Term-I  : FA1, FA2 and SA1
     Term-II : FA3, FA4 and SA2

         Formative Assessment refers to evaluating a child’s performance in a holistic way, showing his/her progress in various skills, attitudes and values. The progress of the students is continuously reviewed as per assignments, projects, oral questions, conversation skills, research work, quizzes and class work along with participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Summative Assessment helps to understand periodically the academic and intellectual growth of a child. It is assessed through Term1 and Term2
  • There will be Unit Tests, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Final Examination for classes XI & XII
  • Students absenting from any of these assessment will not be re-examined whatever may be the reason. No student shall be promoted to the next class without appearing for the assessment
  • The results of the assessments are final and will not be reconsidered
  • Students who did not appear in one or more subjects in any of the assessments for unavoidable reasons shall only be considered for “Promotion”, provided they get their leaves sanctioned in time by the Principal
